Food and Brew Festival

For one day only, Downtown Newark restaurants open their doors to craft and import breweries, in honor of American Beer Month, and celebrate the unique relationship between the culinary arts and the brewing sciences! Downtown Newark Partnership and Out & About Magazine are proud to host what has fast become a summer tradition: the 7th Annual Downtown Newark Food and Brew Festival. The event showcases more than 40 craft and imported beers paired with creative food offerings from 17 of Newark’s restaurants. No tickets required. This is a pay as you go event.

Beer tastings and food specials begin at 2:00 p.m. and run until 10:00 p.m. Restaurants will offer tapas menus to highlight their featured brews. The first 2,500 guests will receive a Food & Brew Fest 7 commemorative 5 oz. tasting mug! Guests may sample one of the restaurant’s featured brews for $1.00. Along with brew tasting and food specials, the event will also offer prize drawings, give-a-ways and entertainment!  A day-of-event program will be available at the restaurants and at information booths located at Wilmington Trust Company's Main Street branch and on Elkton Road in the parking lot of Buffalo Wild Wings.
